Overview
Paytronix's Instant Payments Feature is a convenient way for clients to charge a guest's gift card/loyalty balance and/or a credit card for a purchase, through the client's mobile app.
How do Instant Payments Work?
The Instant Payments feature works when the guest's QR code is scanned from the client’s mobile app. The balance on the guest's gift/loyalty account is recognized and applied toward the check with any remaining charges billed to the guest's credit card. If the gift card balance is $0, then the full check amount will be charged to the credit card.
What do I need to Know Before Using Instant Payments?
This feature is currently available for clients who meet all of the following criteria:
Have Paytronix Gift
Have a Mobile app (The mobile app does not need to be specific to Paytronix)
Have Revel POS
How Do I Set Up Instant Payments?
Paytronix will need to set up a test processor before this feature can be used. Please contact your Paytronix representative or open a support case for assistance.
What Reporting is Available for Instant Payments?
Reporting on this feature is available through the Stored Value Instant Payments Summary Report or the Stored Value Instant Payments Detail Report. These reports provide valuable insights into the usage of the Instant Payments Feature.
