Overview
We offer two Web Sale Programs, two ways for your guests to purchase a gift card:
Web Gift Card: A physical card, purchased online. You will need to deliver the card to the recipient.
Web eGift: A digital card, purchased online. Paytronix sends the recipient an email with all the necessary info.
Which Web Sale Program can I sell?
You can sell just one option, or both options - it's up to you.
How does it work?
We create a landing page with a secured shopping card (SSL) that aligns with your existing branding. From this page, guests can purchase Web Gift Cards, Web eGifts, or both. You can sell both types on the same landing page, or have a different landing page for each type. We provide a link to any landing pages we create; you decide how to incorporate these pages into your existing site design. A Paytronix Support Configuration Specialist will be happy to help customize a wide variety of options so the new page fits with your brand seamlessly.
How long will it take?
The timeline to get Web Gift Card and Web eGift sales live is broken down into three phases:
Phase | Who? | What? | How long? |
1 | Paytronix |
| Variable |
2 | Client |
| Variable |
3 | Paytronix |
| 1-3 weeks |
Important Notes:
You can work on phases 1 + 2 at the same time. Completion of phases 1 + 2 is required for phase 3.
Phase 3 may be done in our Train (Test) environment and then moved into Production after client has approved the setup.
What is Paytronix Payments? Why is it required?
Paytronix Payments is required to process credit card payments for online transactions including: purchases of Web Gift Cards and Web eGifts, re-charging Web Gift Cards and Web eGifts online, and setting up auto-recharge options for Web Gift Cards and Web eGifts online.
How does it work? Paytronix provides the landing page(s) for guests to enter order information. Payment information is collected on the landing page; Paytronix sends an authorization request to Stripe. Next, Stripe transmits the request to the actual credit card processor; the credit card processor authorizes (or rejects) the transaction. Finally, Stripe transmits data back to Paytronix, confirming that the credit card processor authorized the payment. This completes the guest's order, generating an order confirmation message to the guest. If the credit card processor rejects the request, the order will not complete, and the guest will see an error message. For additional information, please refer to Paytronix Payments for eGift, Subscriptions, Recharge, and Other Features.

Before You Start
Before you start, you'll need to know a few important things:
You need to already have a gift card program set up with Paytronix.
Decide what you will sell. Are you going to sell Web Gift Cards? Web eGifts? Both?
If you will be selling Web Gift Cards, how will you manage delivery to recipients? Paytronix provides information for order fulfillment; we do not fulfill Web Gift Card orders.
Web Gift Cards and Web eGifts can only be sold from your web site; you need to have a web site to sell either option.
If you currently use a myguestaccount.com landing page, that is sufficient.
If want to us to build a new myguestaccount.com landing page, we can do that. This may require an additional fee; it will definitely require a longer timeline.
If you do not currently plan to use a myguestaccount.com landing page, you will need to integrate to Paytronix. If you will need an integration, this may require an additional fee; it will definitely require a longer timeline.
