Overview

Store Groups allow you to create, and edit groups of stores used in promotions and reporting.

Before You Start

Ensure you have the proper permissions to utilize the Store Administration features. If you do not currently have access, contact your User Admin to get the proper permissions added to your account. You will need to be assigned the following permissions:

  • Merchant Setup Store Group – Read

  • Merchant Setup Store Group – Write

If you find yourself needing to create or maintain large store groups (25+ stores) regularly, these permissions will be required to manage the Store Groups with bulk changes via file uploads:

  • Merchant Setup Store Group Upload – New

Please contact Paytronix if you have additional questions about the Store Group Maintenance feature.

2. Select the category that this store group should be classified as:

  1. Concept – For merchants that have multiple concepts, allows grouping of stores by concept

  2. Region – For merchants that have stores in different geographical regions, allows grouping of stores by geographic location

  3. Franchisee – For merchants with Franchisees, allows grouping by stores owned by the same Franchisee

  4. Other – Any other custom grouping that does not fall under the categories above

3. Behavior indicates how new stores configured in the system should be treated by the store group. Fixed behavior will ignore new stores. Auto-add will automatically add newly created stores to the store group.
