Why is the store info wrong in the app?

Is information about a store incorrect on your app? This article provides different steps to ensure your stores appear correctly

Updated over 2 months ago

The Paytronix branded app can show your stores based on location but there are a few reasons why a store may be missing from your app, or why some store information is incorrect.

To edit this information, you will need these specific permissions on your account. If you do not have these permissions, reach out to your user admin to have these added to your profile.

  • Store Administration

  • Store Lookup

  • Merchant Setup Store - Write

The most common reason for a store not showing is the absence of coordinates on the Stores page. To get there:

1. Go to the PXS select Store Administration > Stores.

2. Click on the name of the store you ant to edit and then click on the "pencil" icon to edit.

3. Input Latitude/Longitude (up to 6 decimals).

4. Review the Hours of Operation. If the hours are incorrect update those as well. The hours start on a Monday, and end on a Sunday and any days which the store is closed should be entered as CLOSED. Hours of operation must be in the following format: HH:MMAM-HH:MMPM.

In the following example the store is open daily 7am - 3pp and closed Saturday and Sunday:
7:00AM-3:00PM, 7:00AM-3:00PM, 7:00AM-3:00PM, 7:00AM-3:00PM, 7:00AM-3:00PM, CLOSED, CLOSED

5. Click Save when your changes are done.

If Latitude/Longitude are setup but the store still does not show in the app, the store may also not be in the correct store group. The store should be in the Other - Fixed - Favorite Store app group to surface in the branded app. To get there:

1. In the PXS go to Store Administration > Store Groups.

2. Click the "pencil" icon next to Other - Fixed - Favorite Stores and click the check box next to the name(s) you want to add.
