How Do I Configure Store Info Pages?

This article explains how to set up and customize Store Info Pages in the Paytronix Branded Mobile Application.

Overview

Easily customize buttons and provide store specific information for guests from within the Stores page in the PXS. Store Info Pages use pre-built JSON text format templates (provided below) and are fully self-service but require ‘IT-Store Administration’ permissions.

What should I know before I begin?

Before you begin, please note the following key points:

  • The metadata text field has a character limit of 1,024 characters.

  • Updates made and saved to the store page will be made instantly. To see the updated content, close out of the store’s page then reopen.

  • If the page is missing the custom content that you entered into the metadata field, it’s most likely because the JSON is malformed. Please try starting again, using the provided template(s).

  • If no URL is added for the store image, the app will default back to the store image in the config file

  • If you are adding a Text Description and want to add a line break include \n within the quotes of the text you are including.

    • You cannot have more than 1 “text” string, the second string included in the metadata field will be the one that displays.

How do I configure Store Info Pages?

TIP: Make sure your app is updated as of 1/25/24 to be able to use Store Info Pages.

  1. Begin by navigating to Store Administration/Store.

2. Select the store you wish to customize.

  1. Insert the appropriate JSON template (see below) for either a restaurant or convenience store.

​NOTE: To display fuel prices on your store pages, you must have an integration in place with P97.

How do I customize my information?

Each template allows for replacement of placeholder text. See below for how to edit the text or update buttons with your specific information.
​

  • Link to Store Image: Replace the "storeImage" URL with your store's image URL.

  • Store Description: Update the "text" field with your store-specific description.

  • Amenities: Edit the "Amenities" array to reflect your store's amenities.

  • Buttons: Update the "button" array with the desired button labels and URLs.

  • Fuel Prices: If you don't use P97 integration, remove "fuel_prices_header": "Fuel Prices". Otherwise, the app will pull fuel prices from P97 for this store when the header is present in the JSON file.

  • Add More Amenities/Buttons: Copy and paste additional items within the arrays as needed.

You can also delete any sections that are not applicable to your store.

What components are not configurable with Store Info Pages?

The following areas are not currently available to configure using the Store Info Pages feature:

  • Store Buttons: Call, Order, Directions

  • Check In: Check In codes

  • Map: Current map of the location
