Creating Test Card Restrictions for User Acceptance Testing
When configuring new promotions in Paytronix, our teams may request a test card you’ll use to UAT new configurations. This article outlines how to tag a card for Paytronix's teams.
Create an account
You’ll need to have an existing account or create a new account for our teams to apply UAT configurations to. This account should be created through your mobile app or websites. Make note of your card number, you’ll need this for later steps!
Tag your account via a Rules Based Campaign
To tag your account using a Rules Based Campaign, follow the below steps:
Create a new Campaign. To do so - navigate to Marketing Tools in the left hand Nav and then to Campaign Center.
Label your campaign with the following format
YYMM tag [name] – [Card Number]
This label will help Paytronix teams to identify your test account in our configurations and enable troubleshooting when necessary.
On the Offer tab of the campaign, select This Campaign is Rule-Based.
On the Segment tab, create a New Account Filter
Label: Match to campaign label
Conditions
Sequential Cards
First Card #: your card number
Last Card #: your card number
How Many Card #s?: 1
Program Template: select as appropriate
Save & Continue to return to your campaign.
From here, you can proceed to publish your campaign for immediate execution. Once the campaign is complete, your card will be tagged and available to Paytronix for new configurations.
