Curbside Pickup is a fulfillment option within the OpenDining online ordering platform that allows guests to place a takeout order and have it brought directly to their vehicle when they arrive at the restaurant. When enabled, the system collects vehicle information from the guest at checkout (make, model, and color), and optionally supports a check-in workflow so guests can notify the restaurant upon arrival. This article covers everything you need to know to enable, configure, and troubleshoot the Curbside Pickup feature.
Enable Curbside Pickup for a restaurant:
Navigate to Settings > Curbside Settings for the restaurant
Check the Enable Curbside checkbox.
Click Save Settings.
Enable Check-In (Optional)
Return to Settings > Curbside.
Under the Check-In section, check Enable Check-in.
Optionally, enter a Check-in Notification Phone Number to forward arrival notifications via SMS to a staff member's phone.
Click Save Settings.
