What is AI Menu Search?
Our AI menu search engine is powered by AI algorithms that categorize your menu upon setup. This removes the need for your guests to know a specific item’s name when searching, instead offering them more accurate results while providing opportunities for them to learn about your menu options.
For example, your guests may search for ‘chicken'. Instead of just returning an item with 'chicken’ in the name, AI search will offer up to 10 related item suggestions such as appetizers, salads and/or entrees that include chicken. This provides your guests with a variety to choose from, increasing the chances of them adding to their basket(s).
What are Out of Stock Suggestions?
It’s always frustrating to find out your preferred menu item is out of stock, but what if related or similar items could be automatically suggested as alternatives? This is possible using the AI powered algorithm behind AI menu search.
Now, when your guest(s) look for an item that is out of stock, they’ll see an ‘out of stock’ notice and a link to view alternative items. These similar items will again, offer the opportunity for your guests to learn what else you may offer, thereby increasing the odds they will add a substitute item and may even come back for it next time.
