If there is a need to redeploy Simphony, this article covers how to affect those changes. With Simphony, the version matters greatly.

If there are concerns about compatible software, please contact PX Support. These steps may alleviate a PXC not reachable. Contact manager error.

For full steps to install the Simphony user program, please see the Simphony installation guide. Note: micros/micros as user/password

• Stop the Controller service (Start > Services > Paytronix Controller)
• Stop the service host
• Download the matching PXC/user program from paytronix.com/support using micros/micros as user/password and extract to C:\PXInstall
• C:\Paytronix\ > delete the data folder entirely. This step will not be successful if the Controller is still running
• C:\Micros\Simphony\WebServer\wwwroot\EGateway\Handlers > remove PXSimphony.dll, Newtonsoft.Json.dll, and PaytronixAPINET.dll entirely
• EMC > setup > content > reload from C:\Paytronix\config\pxconfig\pxconfig.cfg
• EMC > setup > extension applications > PXSimphony > create an override > reload all 3 files using Content Type 3-DLL and navigate to C:\PXInstall\archive\PXSimphony\bin\release\PXSimphony.dll/PaytronixAPINET.dll/ C:\PXInstall\archive\PXSimphony\bin\Release\dlls\userprog\Newtonsoft.Json.dll
• Be sure under each Option Bits the "write to Handlers" option is unchecked (Option Bits should be all zeros)
• Disk file names will be: Newtonsoft.Json.dll/PaytronixAPINET.dll/PXSimphony.dll and uncheck all options except Win32
• Restart the Controller service (Start > Services > Paytronix Controller)
• Restart the service host
• Reload the database (should take several minutes) and reboot terminals
