How do I set up a Decrement Campaign in Paytronix Messaging on Access Evo

To create a campaign decrement/decrease wallet balances:

1. Access Messaging by clicking the Access logo in the upper left corner, Products and then clicking Paytronix Messaging.

2. Select Campaigns and Create Campaign.

3. Under Details, give your campaign a memorable name.

4. Select the customer segment to target. You can use the "Search by segments by name" and also use the new filter options.

There’s also the option to for a control group—that is a group of customers who will not receive the promotion. This could be a way to test the behavior of customers who do, and do not receive your campaign.

Note: Using Custom Segments are targeted for end of September 2026.

5. Click Next to move to Message and select Admin Campaign as the Campaign Type.

6. Under Reward, click Select Reward:

7. Once the reward is set, toggle Expiration Only on.

8. Under Schedule, choose the start date and time that you’d like your decrement campaign to run and the campaign type - one-time campaign or recurring campaign.

Please be aware that all times in the PXS system are in Eastern Standard, so adjust accordingly if you need to.

9. Click Next to go to the Final Review screen. Review all the details and when you are ready to launch your campaign click Launch Campaign. It will now be live and ready to launch based on the schedule.

This process can be repeated for additional wallets or whenever your team needs to bulk decrement a wallet.

Let's look at an example of a Decrement Campaign. This campaign is decrementing/clearing all 2025 Holiday Bonus Cards that have a balance as targeted in the Clear 2025 Holiday Bonus Card segment, on 8/30/2026 at 11:35 AM EST. The highest balance is 95 comp dollars.
