Overview
Bulk Wallet Adjustment is a tool that allows you to adjust the value in a wallet across a range of active cards.
Before You Start
Ensure you have the proper permissions to utilize the Bulk Wallet Adjustment feature. If you need permission, contact your User Admin to get the proper permissions added to your account. Please contact Paytronix Support if you have additional questions about the Bulk Wallet Adjustment feature.
How do I use the Bulk Wallet Adjustment Feature?
Identify the range of cards you would like to perform a wallet adjustment for. Please note these cards must be in sequential order to use the Bulk Wallet Adjustment tool and you must enter the first and last number of each card, then decrement the store value/gift card wallet and the stored value discount wallet (if applicable). These cards will also need to be pre-activated. If the cards have not yet been activated, please use the Bulk Activation tool to activate the cards.
The first step is to navigate to the Bulk Wallet Adjustment Tool found on the Paytronix Merchant Portal. This can be found under the ‘Marketing Tools’ tab or by searching for ‘Bulk Wallet Adjustment’.
From here you will need to choose the Card Template of the cards to be adjusted, starting card number, ending card number, and the total quantity of cards in that range. Once you input this information choose Next to move forward to Step 2 in the tool.
The next step in the tool allows you to pull a report of the cards outlined in Step 1 prior to the adjustment of the cards. Pulling a report is completely optional and if you would like to skip this step just choose the ‘Next’ button.
If you would like to pull a report, you can choose which demographic information and wallet balances should be included in the report. Once you have chosen the information you’d like included in the report, choose the ‘View Matching Cards’ button found at the bottom of the page to pull the report. Choose the ‘Next’ button to move onto the next step.
The final step is to choose the adjustments you would like to make and the store these adjustments should be attributed to. You can attribute the adjustment to a store you select of the enrollment store of each card. The store the transaction should be attributed to is up to you and your team. On this page, you will also choose which wallet you would like to adjust, whether you’d like to increment or decrement the wallet, and by how much. Once you have completed these options, choose the ‘Make Adjustments’ button to finalize any adjustments.
After the adjustments are made, you again have the option to pull a report of the cards you adjusted in this flow. You can choose which demographic information and wallet balances to include in the report of these cards.
