The Paytronix branded guest website is an optional complimentary product for customers who use Paytronix to manage their loyalty, gift and/or eClub programs. Your guests can use this website to check balances on gift cards, purchase egift cards, and sign up for and access their loyalty accounts, among other features. This website is not meant to be the primary website for your brand, but it can be customized to fit with your main website and overall branding.
What should I know before I start?
There are different levels of customization available that are described below, but it is important to note that the guest website is a template-based, ready-made solution that has limitations on what can be modified.
If you are looking for a custom website that is heavily customized to meet specific business needs, such as integration with other systems, tailored features, and unique design elements, it is recommended to work with a 3rd party vendor or internal development team to create a custom website integration to Paytronix. What customizations are possible?
Guest website changes can be classified into 3 major types. Click into the Help Center article for additional information on each:
User Interface based self-service changes. Learn more: What Guest Website Changes are Self Service?
User interface-based editor on the client portal that allows users to create and edit content and see how it will appear when published.
These changes are available for clients to make self-service at any time via the WYSIWIG Guest Website editor on the client portal. See the help center article for an overview of the types of changes and instructions on how to make them:
Examples: Update welcome text on the home page, upload logo, change basic color scheme.

Commonly requested changes that require some level of code-level modification.
These changes are available to be made via the Paytronix team at no charge. Existing clients should contact [email protected], and launching clients should work with their implementation consultant to make these changes.
Examples: adding a sign-up link to the home page, banner edits, navigation modifications
Custom branding that requires a development resource. Learn more: What are Custom Development Changes to the Guest Website?
Custom branding changes or advanced modifications that require custom HTML, Javascript and/or CSS changes.
These changes need to be scoped by the Paytronix team to determine if they will carry a cost. These types of changes are not available to all clients. Guest website changes that are determined to take more than a specific hours threshold defined in the client contract will require a statement of work. Frequently Asked Questions
Q-I don’t know what type of change my request falls under, how do I move forward?
A-Contact [email protected] with a detailed overview of the requested change, the Paytronix support team will provide feedback on the type of request and potential next steps.
Q-Is the Guest Website ADA compliant/508 compliant?
A-The default Guest Website is ADA conformant. We are currently making ADA improvements WCAG 2.1 AA.
Q-Is the Guest Website Mobile Responsive?
A-Yes. The default Guest Website is mobile responsive. Any modifications must include mobile responsiveness.
Q-Can I add new pages to the Guest Website?
A-No. It is not possible to create new or blank pages.
Q-Can I embed the guest website on my website?
A-No. This is called an iframe and it is not supported because this breaks CAPTCHA and is not ADA compliant. Also, there are security issues to iframing the guest website. Please pursue a custom integration option integration route if you need Paytronix functionality native to your main website.
