What is Guest Intelligence on Access Evo?

Guest Intelligence gives you a complete, up-to-date picture of guests that leaves a digital trace - not just the ones in your loyalty program. This article explains what Guest Intelligence does, what you can do with it, and how to get the most out of it.

What is Guest Intelligence?

Most marketing tools only show you the guests who have signed up to your loyalty program. That's typically around one in five of the people who actually visit. The other four — guests who order online, pay by card, or walk in without ever joining — leave no trace you can act on.

Guest Intelligence changes that. It connects every digital touchpoint your guests leave — loyalty activity, online orders, and card-linked visits — into one unified profile per guest. So instead of seeing a fraction of your guest base, you see all of it.

Everything runs on data you already have inside Paytronix[SN1.1][MF1.2][SN1.3]. There's nothing new to set up and no additional tools to manage.

What can I do with it?

  • See your full guest base

Your Guest Universe Dashboard gives you a live view of your guest base broken down by visit frequency, spend, lifecycle stage, and location. It updates automatically, so you're always working from a current picture.

  • Build smarter audiences

With Segment Manager, you can build audiences from your whole guest base — not just your loyalty members. Want to target online orderers who haven't joined your loyalty program? Guests who visited regularly but haven't been back in 60 days? Regulars at a specific location? You can build any of these in a few clicks, with no technical knowledge required.

  • Reach guests you couldn't reach before

Once you've built a segment, you can send email or SMS campaigns directly through Paytronix Messaging — to the same profiles, in the same platform. No exporting lists, no cleaning data, no switching between tools.

  • See what your campaigns actually earn

For brands with Online Ordering connected, revenue is automatically attributed back to the guest profiles your campaign targeted. You can see exactly what a campaign returned — not just opens and clicks, but real spend — without any manual reporting.

  • Keep your guest data clean automatically

Guest Intelligence continuously matches and de-duplicates guest records across your connected data sources. If the same guest appears in loyalty, online ordering, and a card transaction, they become one clean profile — automatically, and always up to date.

How guest profiles are built

Guest Intelligence pulls together data from your connected data sources[SN6] and resolves them into a single profile per guest. Each profile includes:

  • Visit and order history — every interaction across connected channels

  • Spend data — total and per-visit spend over time

  • Lifecycle stage — whether a guest is new, active, at risk, or lapsed

  • Channel preferences — how and where they engage with your brand

  • Loyalty status — enrolled or non-enrolled, with full program history for members

Profiles update continuously as new interactions come in, so your segments and campaigns are always based on current behavior.

Connected data sources

Guest Intelligence works with the Paytronix data you already have. Additional sources can be connected to deepen your guest profiles over time.

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Olo to Guest Intelligence?

You would need to engage Olo to initiate the data to be accessible by Paytronix

Do I need to do anything to set it up?

If you're already using Paytronix Loyalty or Online Ordering, your data is already connected. Guest Intelligence activates on what's already there — no migration or integration project required.

Will this affect my existing loyalty program?

No. Your loyalty program works exactly as it does today. Guest Intelligence adds a broader view of your guest base alongside it — your loyalty members are still at the heart of your enrolled audience.

What if I only use Loyalty and not Online Ordering?

You'll still get unified guest profiles, Segment Manager, and the Guest Universe Dashboard from day one. Revenue attribution through Messaging activates when Online Ordering is connected.

How does the platform know two records are the same guest?

Guest Intelligence uses a combination of email address, phone number, payment card token, and behavioral signals to match records across sources. Matches are made continuously and automatically — you don't need to manage this manually, but there is a manual option.

Is my guests' data kept private and secure?

Yes. Guest data stays within your Paytronix environment and is never shared with other brands. Opt-in and opt-out preferences are enforced automatically across all channels, so guests who have opted out are never contacted — regardless of which channel they used to opt out.

Can I see which guests have opted out?

Yes. Consent status is visible on every guest profile and is enforced automatically when you send through Messaging.

Tips for getting started

  1. Start with your Guest Intelligence Dashboard — get a feel for the shape of your full guest base before building your first segment.

  2. Build a non-enrolled segment — find guests who order online but haven't joined your loyalty program. This is often the highest-value audience to target first.

  3. Run a win-back campaign — use Segment Manager to identify lapsed guests and send a re-engagement offer through Messaging.

  4. Check your attribution report after your first send — if Online Ordering is connected, you'll see revenue land back on the profiles you targeted within 24 hours of a campaign going out.
