Guest Intelligence gives you visibility into your full guest universe — not just the guests enrolled in your loyalty program. Most operators can only see and reach 20–30% of their guests. Guest Intelligence connects your loyalty, online ordering, and E-club data into a single profile per guest, so the guests who were always visiting but never reachable become visible and actionable for the first time.
What You Can Do with Guest Intelligence
See your whole guest base and not just loyalty members
Target guests who have never enrolled in your loyalty program
View individual guest profiles and their full activity history
Identify your most popular items and coming soon you'll be able to create campaigns around them
Keep your guest data clean with automatic identity resolution and de-duplication
Guest Intelligence
The main Guest Intelligence view is your starting point. It shows your entire guest base broken down into six behavioral segments and will show 6 months of trend:
Segment | Description |
New | Guests who have visited for the first time within the tracked period. A declining trend means fewer new guests are entering the pipeline — the most upstream health signal. |
Occasional | Guests who have visited more than once but haven't yet established a consistent pattern. Building habits — growth here feeds the Regular segment. |
Regular | Guests with an established visit cadence — consistent returners who haven't yet reached Champion frequency or spend. Your largest and most stable segment. |
Champions | Guests with an established visit cadence — consistent returners who haven't yet reached Champion frequency or spend. Your largest and most stable segment. Your highest-frequency, highest-value guests |
Loyal | Committed repeat guests with a consistent, high-frequency visit pattern — your most reliable revenue base. A growing count is positive (green ↑); it means more guests are reaching lasting loyalty. |
Lapsed | Committed repeat guests with a consistent, high-frequency visit pattern — your most reliable revenue base. A growing count is positive (green ↑); it means more guests are reaching lasting loyalty. |
The view displays your total guest universe alongside your loyalty-only view side by side, so you can immediately see the full scale of your reachable audience — including online ordering and E-club members who have never enrolled in loyalty.
You can also compare loyalty and non-loyalty guests across four key metrics:
Average spend
Visit frequency
Lifetime value
Retention rate
This comparison helps you understand the opportunity within your non-loyalty guest base and prioritize where to focus your campaigns.
Location Performance
Location Performance applies the same guest segments across each of your locations, based on the last 180 days of data.
Each location is color-coded per segment (red / amber / green) for a quick health check across your organization — read each row horizontally to assess a single location's performance across all segments.
Locations that don't yet have a full 180 days of data (for example, recently opened or closed sites) are clearly labelled so you can interpret the figures in context.
Click any location to see more detail and launch a targeted campaign for that site directly.
Search and sort locations by any field to find what you need quickly.
Segment Manager
Segment Manager lets you build precise guest segments using a wide range of attributes, giving you far more flexibility than a standard campaign filter.
To create a segment:
Go to Segment Manager.
Choose your filter criteria by clicking the > at the end of your attribute, select a value and then dragging to to include (or exclude). For example, age range, points balance, location, or purchase behavior. The platform instantly shows you how many guests match and how many are opted in for messaging.
Use Include or Exclude logic to refine your audience.
Either Save Segment for later, or Save Segment and then Create Campaign to go straight to the Paytronix Messaging Campaign Builder.
Campaigns created from Segment Manager are available as single email message campaigns in the Paytronix Messaging Campaign Dashboard. SMS and Push/Pull will be coming soon.
Guest Insights
Guest Insights gives you a complete profile for any recent guests — useful for understanding your best customers or quickly reviewing a guest's history when they get in touch.
Each profile shows:
Date of birth
Gender
Last visit date
Marketing opt-in
Points balance
Lifetime value
Average value
Total visits
Guest Journey Timeline
Every profile includes a timeline of the guest's activity across all connected data sources. Filter by type to focus on what matters:
Filter | What it shows |
Visits | Each time the guest visited one of your locations, with the location, date and total spend. Several checks at the same location on the same day count as one visit. |
Transactions | Each check or order linked to the guest, from in-store (POS) and online ordering. Shows the date and time, location and check total. Visits count trips to a location; Transactions count each individual check. |
Bookings | The guest's table reservations from connected reservation systems, with date, venue, source system and reservation number. |
Loyalty | Points activity on the guest's loyalty account (points earned, redeemed or adjusted), with the points amount and location. |
Enrollment | The date the guest joined your loyalty program. There is at most one Enrollment event per guest. |
Consent | Changes to the guest's marketing permissions, shown as Opted In or Opted Out for each channel (for example Email or SMS), with date and source. |
Campaigns | The marketing campaigns (emails) the guest received, and whether they opened or clicked them. |
Most Popular Items
The Most Popular Items view shows the top 50 items purchased across your guest base.
Filter and sort results by location.
Coming Soon - Create a campaign directly targeting guests who purchased a specific item — for example, everyone who ordered a particular menu item — with the segment automatically created for you.
De-duplication
De-duplication automatically identifies and resolves duplicate guest records across your connected data sources — for example, a guest who exists in both loyalty and online ordering as separate records.
How it works:
The platform uses email, mobile, date of birth and name to match records across loyalty, online ordering, and E-club.
Matches with over 90% confidence are resolved automatically — no action needed from you.
Lower-confidence matches are surfaced for your review. You can inspect each suggested match and choose whether to merge the records or leave them separate.
What de-duplication does:
Gives you one clean, accurate profile per guest across all your data sources.
Improves the accuracy of your segments and guest counts.
Makes previously invisible guests reachable without inflating your guest universe numbers.
What de-duplication does not do:
It does not affect how guests log in or interact with your platform — their accounts and credentials remain unchanged.
Gift cards and comp cards are excluded from de-duplication logic, as these are card-based rather than person-based records.
Integrations
The Integrations view shows all connected data sources and their current status, so you can see exactly what data is powering your guest profiles.
Details shown per integration:
Connection status
Date and time of last data update
Number of guests contributed from that source

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I target guests who haven't joined my loyalty program? Yes. Guest Intelligence surfaces guests from your online ordering and E-club data, making them targetable even if they've never enrolled in loyalty.
Does de-duplication affect how my guests log in or use the platform? No. De-duplication works on the backend to give you cleaner data for targeting. It does not change guest-facing accounts, login credentials, or any records in your loyalty system.
What if a location doesn't have a full 180 days of data? The platform clearly labels those locations so you know the segment data covers a shorter period. This typically applies to recently opened or closed sites.
Can I create a campaign directly from a segment? Yes. Once you've built and saved a segment, you can launch straight into the Campaign Centre to build and send your email campaign ( SMS and Push/Pull will be coming soon) without leaving the workflow.
What types of records are excluded from de-duplication? Gift cards and comp cards are excluded, as these are card-based records rather than individual guest identities.
