If you have a specific item on your menu that takes longer to make and you want to add extra lead time on that item, you can do so by navigating to the Menu page in your Online Ordering dashboard, selecting the proper menu category, and then clicking the Edit button next to that item:
Scroll down to the bottom of the Edit page, click Advanced Information:
A list of options will show. Find the Extra Prep field and provide the extra lead time in minutes:
Then click Save Menu Item at the bottom of the page.
The time you provide here will be added to the lead time that is configured on the General Settings page. So for example, if you have a lead time of 30 minutes on the General Settings page and Extra Prep Time of 15 minutes on a specific item, then the order that contains that item is going to have a lead time of 45 minutes.
