Overview
The Loyalty Overview Report is ideal for evaluation of a loyalty program over time. We recommend running it bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly. It's not designed as a daily/weekly dashboard as these time frames are short to see long-term trends. It can also be useful for YOY comparisons.
Before You Start
Report limitations:
You'll need permission to run the Loyalty Overview Report. If you do not see this report in Report Center, you do not currently have permission to run it. If you feel that you need access to this report, contact the Paytronix administrator at your organization.
The Loyalty Overview Report can be run for a max time period of 95 days for all locations, or an unlimited time period for one location.
The Loyalty Overview Report is best for reviewing one loyalty program at a time. It also works well if you have multiple concepts, all using the same loyalty program. It is not ideal for multiple concepts each with their own loyalty program, or a single concept with multiple loyalty programs.
While it is possible to run the Loyalty Overview Report for multiple card templates (loyalty programs) and group results by card template, we do not recommend this because the output is difficult to manipulate; we provide it for rare use cases.
Know your program, specifically which wallets you are going to want to include in the Loyalty Overview Report. Which wallets are most indicative of the progress of your program? Check Subtotal, Dollars Spent, and Visits are most common; you'll probably want these at a minimum. Have questions? The Loyalty Overview Report doesn't have a detail version. By design, this is a summary report.
Sample Output
All Stores, Grouped by Tier
Running this report grouped by tiers means that the report output will have one row for each tier and all card templates within that tier will be rolled-up into a single row for the tier.
Running the Report
When you go to run the report, you'll need to make some selections to customize the data to your needs.
Date Range Options:
Quick Date: Choose Today, Yesterday, Current calendar month, or Last calendar month. If you have set up by your custom fiscal periods, you may also choose to run the report by fiscal period.
Manual Date Entry: Type in a custom date range, or click on the calendar icon to select the date from a calendar.
Store Options:
Enter a specific Store Number to see results for one store.
Select a Store Group from the drop down box, to select a group of stores.
Check the “All” box if you would like to include all stores.
Card Templates: Check the desired Card Templates boxes from the options to the right.
Wallets: Check the desired Wallets that you want to include in the report.
Group by: If you'd like to group your results by Tier or Card Template, select an option from the drop-down list.
Prepend Wallet Codes:
If you leave this box ticked, your report column labels will display Wallet Codes, and Wallet Names.
If you untick this box, your report column labels will only display Wallet Names.
Click SUBMIT.
Reading the Report
As you review the report, here's a bit of explanation about the data in each column.

Total Activations | The number of cards that were activated during the period for which the report was run |
Combined Accounts | The number of accounts that were eliminated (by combining two or more into one) during the period for which the report was run |
Net New Activations | The number of total activations minus the combined accounts |
To Date Active Cards | The total number of cards active in the program, since inception |
Total Registrations During Period | The total registrations during the period |
To Date Total Registrations | The total number of cards that have been registered since the inception of the program |
% Registered | The number of people who registered during the period divided by the number of cards activated in the period; there could be a number higher than 100% in this column because people may have enrolled before the reporting period but registered during the reporting period. |
Opted In During Period | The number of registered cards that were opted-in during the period for which the report was run |
To Date Opted In | The total number of registered cards that have opted-in since the inception of the program |
% of Registered Opted In | The percentage of registered cards that have opted-in since the inception of the program |
