Uses

* For merchants running an In-House Charge program.
* Shows all transactions, by card number, for in-house charge activities.
* Typically used to tie into a merchant‘s accounting system to allow the merchant to then bill the card holder for charges.

HOW DO I INTERPRET THIS REPORT?

Interpretation Summary

Card number is the first column in this report, followed by customer number. Next columns are the last name and the first name of the card holder. The transaction date, transaction store code and store name follow. Next is the transaction type, on this report, the transaction type will always be “Charge” or “Void Charge” followed by the amount of the transaction. The last columns are the check number, cashier ID, and the Invoice Number. The invoice number does not appear on any other Paytronix Reports. This number is always following the letters “PX”, and the numbers that follow are the transaction number assigned by our database for this specific transaction.

Definition

Card Number

The card (or account) number - this is a unique identifier but could appear multiple times for different transactions.

Customer No.

If you have loaded customer numbers into the database, that number will appear here.

Last Name

The last name of the card holder.

First Name

The first name of the card holder.

Date

The date and time the card was swiped or the transaction took place.

Store Number

The Paytronix number for the store where the transaction took place.

Store Name

The Paytronix name for the store where the transaction took place.

Transaction Type

There are several Paytronix terms for different transactions, including Accrual/Redemption and Balance Inquiry. For a complete list, please click here

Charge Amount

The amount of the transaction.

Check No.

The number of the transaction - this corresponds to the check number at the restaurant‘s POS system.

Cashier ID

The POS ID of the server who was logged in at the time of card swipe or the time of check close, depending on your POS setup.

Invoice Number

A unique number within the Paytronix systems, used by merchants for billing purposes.

I LIKE IT, SO HOW DO I RUN THIS REPORT?

  1. First enter the date range for which you’d like to run the report.

    • Quick Date: Here you can choose Yesterday, Today, the current month, or last month. If you have set up by your custom fiscal periods, you may also choose to run the report by fiscal period.

    • Manual Date Entry: Here you can type in your desired date range or find the day by clicking on the calendar icon to the right.

  2. Check the “All” box if you would like to include all stores. You can also enter a specific store code to see one store or select a store group from the drop down box.

  3. Click Submit!

    Note: This report is not updated in real time; activity up to 45 minutes in the past may not be included.
