HOW DO I INTERPRET THIS REPORT?

Interpretation Summary

This report contains information about all stored value void transactions that have been processed by the Paytronix servers. The transactions usually come through the POS, but some come directly through the web via a CSR (Customer Service Representative) action.

The first columns include information about the merchant and store, including your merchant name, store number and store name. These represent the store where the transaction took place. Then the report shows the date and time of the transaction, followed by the card number and card templates . After those columns, the transaction types is shown. This can be many different types, most commonly Void transactions. CSR adjustments are usually a “Rule Adjustment” transaction, which indicates that the Paytronix rules engine run. Then the amount voided is displayed - a void redeem transaction will show a positive amount and a void add will show a negative amount. This amount reflects the actual amount removed from or added to the card. Finally, all POS-specific information is shown, including check number, terminal ID and cashier ID.

The date/time of the transaction

Card Number

The affected card number

Transaction Type

The transaction that was completed; for more information click here.

Amount Voided

Amount removed from or added to the card as a result of this transaction

Check No.

The check number from the POS system

Terminal ID

The terminal where the transaction took place

Cashier ID

The cashier who was logged in to the terminal when the transaction took place; in the case of CSR adjustments, this is the Paytronix user number.

I LIKE IT, SO HOW DO I RUN THIS REPORT?

  1. First enter the date range for which you’d like to run the report.

    • Quick Date: Here you can choose Yesterday, Today, the current month, or last month. If you have set up by your custom fiscal periods, you may also choose to run the report by fiscal period.

    • Manual Date Entry: Here you can type in your desired date range or find the day by clicking on the calendar icon to the right.

  2. Check the “All” box if you would like to include all stores. You can also enter a specific store code to see one store or select a store group from the drop down box.

  3. Click Submit!

    Note: This report is updated in real time.
