What is a Tier Adjustment Campaign?

This article will review what a Tier Adjustment campaign is and how to set one up

Updated over 2 months ago

Tier Adjustment Campaigns are used to either:

  1. Move guests from an existing Tier to an Adjustment Tier upon execution of a campaign

  2. Move guests from an Adjustment Tier to the Expiration Tier on the campaign’s Expiration Date.

Campaigns can be "Adjustment Tier" and "Expiration Tier". By default, guests will remain in an Adjustment Tier when the Expiration Tier is not selected.

Note:

  • A Tier cannot be deleted if it’s associated with a campaign.

  • A Tier campaign is eligible only if at least one tier is configured.

What are some considerations of a Tier Adjustment campaign?

Offer

  • No offers are associated with Tier Campaigns

Message

  • Email messages can be applied to notify the guest of the Tier change along with the guest’s benefits/perks associated with the change.

Segment

  • The Segment is the Account Filter created for this campaign.

  • It will only accept existing tiers.

  • A default adjustment tier is always chosen.

  • Guests in the Target group will moved into the ‘Reset Tier’ when the adjustment expires. If a reset tier is set, then an expiration must be set in the Offer.
