Navigate updated Analytics dashboards

Paytronix upgraded its Analytics platform. This article explains how to navigate dashboards, switch between views, and save your favorites.

What has changed and why

The platform powering the Analytics section of the Paytronix platform has been upgraded to modernize the analytics experience while maintaining the core reporting functionality you rely on.


The new platform offers a more flexible and interactive analytics experience. While the previous platform dashboards were primarily designed for viewing and filtering data, the new one enables you to engage with data more dynamically — including drilling into metrics, exploring underlying datasets, and combining insights across tabs for users with content creation permission. These enhancements make it easier to access, explore, and act on data with less reliance on custom report requests.

Additional benefits include the following:

  • Faster and more reliable reporting through better-connected data tables.

  • Greater consistency across dashboards through standardized key metric definitions.

  • Improved self-service functionality, including the ability to schedule your own SFTP exports.

  • Upgraded, modern visuals and improved navigation.


View your data with Analytics

Analytics gives you visual, easy-to-read dashboards for the data that matters to your business, all in one place. You can use it to keep track of performance without having to dig through multiple reports.

Required conditions

To use Analytics, you'll need the following:

  • The Analytics feature enabled on your account.

  • The reporting dashboards permission.

If you don't have access and believe you should, contact your Technical Success Manager or Customer Success Manager.


Get to Analytics

You can open Analytics from two places: your homepage or the left navigation menu.

From your homepage

  1. From your homepage, find the Analytics tile.

  2. Click View analytics.

From the left navigation menu

  1. Click Report Center in the left navigation menu.

  2. Click Analytics.


Navigate dashboards

  • To see the full dashboards list, click the menu icon to the left of the Standard Dashboards link, just under the word 'Analytics,' and then click All.

  • Alternatively, click directly on Standard Dashboards to see the list of standard folders.

Hub and All views

The Analytics tab includes two primary navigation views:

View

Description

Hub

Your organized dashboard folders grouped by product (for example, Standard, Online Ordering, Premium). This is the recommended starting point.

All

A flat, alphabetical list of all content you have access to.


Favorite a dashboard

You can favorite individual dashboards for quick access.

  1. Go to the Hub in the Analytics tab.

  2. Hover over any piece of content and click the star icon next to the dashboard.

  3. Access your favorites at any time from the Favorites section in the left menu.


Scheduled reports

Scheduled reports behave differently depending on how they were originally set up:

  • Reports scheduled through Analytics: Continue to run as configured. No changes needed.

  • Reports previously scheduled through the prior platform: Only specific SFTP content has been migrated and continue to run in Analytics. The data source has changed, but the content and delivery schedule remain the same. You will need to set up any content that was not migrated.

  • Reports scheduled through the Paytronix platform: These are unaffected.

📌 Note: If you have scheduled reports set up, we recommend verifying delivery periodically to ensure emails are not being filtered or blocked.


Exporting data

You can export to Excel or CSV in addition to the new PNG and PDF formats. Scheduling also supports delivery to SFTP, which you can configure yourself without needing to raise a request.
