Enhance your guests' mobile experience by enabling interactive engagement and link images in Mobile Experience Builder to specific destinations for seamless navigation.
How do Clickable Images work?
Any image that you add within the Mobile Experience Builder Image Carousel can be linked out to a separate destination, giving your guests a seamless experience and quick access to the content that matters most. For example, if it’s the holidays and you’d like to drive guests to purchase eGift cards, simply link your eGift page to an image right within your guests' mobile experience. When your guests click on the image, they’ll be brought to your eGift page to make their purchase.
Images can be linked to any of the following options:
External weblink (i.e. reservation through Open Table) which will be shown in a webview within the app
Menu item or category
Survey link
In-app page
How do I set up up Clickable Images?
App version 25.6 or above is required to use Clickable Images. Your current app version can be found in the App Store settings. If you do not have 25.6 or above, please follow the steps in How to Update the Branded Mobile App to request an update.
How do I use Clickable Images?
To link an image to a destination, follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to Marketing Tools > Mobile Experience Builder.
2. On the Mobile Experience Builder Dashboard Screen, navigate to Build Your Dashboard>Add Item>Image Carousel.
3. Name your carousel in the Carousel Name field then select an existing image or select Create New.
4. In the Image Options, there will be a field to select a link type of either App Screen, Menu Item or Category, External Webpage, or Survey. Select the desired destination from the dropdown.
5. When you select a desired destination for your Image Link, you will specify the exact location. For example, if you select the External Webpage, you will be prompted to specify the URL. When you are finished, click Publish & Update.
6. Finally, click Publish & Update on the Dashboard page.
