With Oracle Simphony, the version of the POS is very important for the Paytronix integration. When there are new releases by Oracle, those releases may need an accompanying release from Paytronix, and the installation methodology may change from version to version.
When a new version of Simphony requires a new release of Paytronix software, we will only continue to support that version of Simphony. This means that if there are features created or defects repaired, you will have to move to the latest supported version of Simphony to take advantage of the new Paytronix release.
Important Note: Before rolling out any new versions of Simphony please discuss with Paytronix Support to ensure the version you are looking to go to is supported.
It is highly encourage that you run one, and only one, version of Simphony at all of your locations to ensure consistent Paytronix software behavior.
