Cancelling a subscription for a loyalty member

Members can cancel their subscriptions themselves via the guest website, they can also call into your support line to cancel their subscription. This article describes the process a customer service representative would follow to process a cancellation.

Before You Start
You will need to make sure that your account has the `CSR Change Subscription Status` permission. Reach out to your User Administrator to get access to this functionality.

Cancelling a subscription

  • Customer Service > Account Lookup specify the identifying information for the subscription holder:

  • Select Manage Subscriptions under the Customer Account Services options:

  • Select the subscription you would like to cancel, and click Submit:

  • Verify that the account has been unsubscribed in the account details:

Subscription benefits will still be available if the expiration date on their Subscription reward is in the future (i.e. if the guest canceled their subscription before their period has ended, they’ll still have access to rewards.) The guest should also receive an email confirming their cancellation has been processed.
