Overview
You can find Gift Card Graphs in the Report Center of the Paytronix Merchant Portal. The Gift Card Graphs feature provides both visualized, and detailed data relating to gift card sales, and usage. You can customize the graphs by adjusting filters within Gift Card Graphs.
Gift Card Graphs will show you the following data:
Fiscal YTD Sales (total figure)
Period to Date Sales (total figure)
Yesterday's Sales (total figure)
YOY Gift Card Sales by Fiscal Period (bar chart)
Gift Card Sales by Day (line graph)
Gift Card Sales by Store (last 30 days, for top 15 stores) (bar graph)
Gift Card Sales by Store in Last 30 Days (detail list)
Breakage (Redemption Profile)
Before You Start
If you don't see Gift Card Graphs, you do not currently have permission to use this feature. If you feel you need access to Gift Card Graphs, contact the Paytronix Administrator at your organization.
You will need to set up fiscal periods so the Gift Card Graphs display your data in a way that is meaningful for your organization. If someone from your organization has not done this yet, you will see this message:
You can set up your organization's fiscal periods by clicking the create fiscal periods link in the error message. Clicking this this link will load a page where you can set up fiscal periods to match the fiscal periods for your organization. If you are unsure about what your organization's fiscal periods are, we recommend contacting your Finance Department.
You'll be able to filter by gift card template. What's a template? In general, templates are used to separate gift cards with unique features and functionality.
Here are a few examples of templates:
Specific venue for selling gift cards (e.g. in-store, retail reseller, warehouse club store reseller).
If your organization has multiple concepts, templates may represent the different concepts.
Fixed value gift cards, cards with a pre-set value (e.g. $25, $50, $100) are another example of possible gift card templates.
Make sure you are familiar with how your organization uses gift card templates before using the Card Template filters in Gift Card Graphs.
Gift Card Graphs (Gift Card Sales Data)
Select More from the bottom of the left navigation menu:
Select Gift Card Graphs from the Report Center option in the expanded menu
Apply filters:
You can filter by gift card template, store(s), or both.
Click Run.
That's it! You can adjust the filters to get different views of your data.
Want to download any of this data?
Hover over one of the blocks until you see three small dots and the Download Data link. Click Download Data:
Select your download options:
Click the Download button.
Gift Card Redemption Profiles (Breakage Data)
At the bottom of the Gift Card Graphs page, you'll see an image of a line graph with text over it that reads, "Click Here to See Redemption Profile." The Redemption Profiles page will show gift card breakage, either by all cards sold, or by template.
When you click on this image, you'll see two Redemption Profile charts:
