HOW DO I INTERPRET THIS REPORT?
Interpretation Summary |
This report gives you the ability to view additions of value to stored value cards (both new card activations and subsequent additions of value) over a specific date range. As with all Paytronix summary reports, there is a preview pane that you will see after running the report, but it may be most useful for you to download the report in Excel. If you have multiple types of stored value cards (usually referred to as “gift cards”), you will see each as a different templates. You will then see the type of transactions that added the value, which is most often “Activate Add”, which adds money to a brand-new card or “Add Redeem”, which adds money to a card that has been used before. You then see the amount added and discount added, followed by the Net Amount, which is the difference between the Amount Added and Discount Added columns. The last column contains the total number of transactions that occurred. |
Column Name | Definition |
Store Number | The Paytronix number for the store where the transaction took place. |
Store Name | The Paytronix name for the store where the transaction took place. |

Transaction Type | There are several Paytronix terms for different transactions, including Activate Add and Add Redeem. For a complete list, please click here . |
Amount Added | The dollar value added to the card |
Discount Added | The discounts added to the card |
Net Amount | The difference between the Amount Added and Discount Added columns |
Total Transactions | The total number of transactions that occurred |
I LIKE IT, SO HOW DO I RUN THIS REPORT?
First enter the date range for which you’d like to run the report.
Quick Date: Here you can choose Yesterday, Today, the current month, or last month. If you have set up by your custom fiscal periods, you may also choose to run the report by fiscal period.
Manual Date Entry: Here you can type in your desired date range or find the day by clicking on the calendar icon to the right.
Check the “All” box if you would like to include all stores. You can also enter a specific store code to see one store or select a store group from the drop down box.
Select the desired Card Templates from the drop down menu or leave “All” selected. Check the “Include Cross Merchant Cards” if you would like to include cards from other merchants
Select the desired Campaign Occurrence from the drop down menu or leave “All” selected.
Click Submit!
