Overview

Synced rows is a feature in Email Messaging that allows for a bulk update across all existing email campaigns for items like new branding, disclaimers or other information that could previously had to be updated in each individual email.

How does it work?

When you are creating an email in Email Builder, you will have the option to sync a row, which will enable it to update all existing emails that also contain that row. If you prefer to not have the row sync to every other email you can choose to keep it just to the email being worked on.

How do I create a synced row?

Navigate to Marketing Tools> Email Tool>Create New Email. Build your email as you normally would. To create a custom row, select the floppy disk icon on the right side of your screen.

You’ll then see a pop up: Save Custom Rows. On this screen you can choose to name the row and select which category it belongs to. You can then choose to save it as a Standard Row that you can use in other emails but is not synced to every existing email. Alternatively, you can choose to save it as a Synced Row which will propagate your changes to all other designs that use this same content.

Make your edits then click Save. On the next screen, you can choose from two options: Edit and Update Everywhere, which will allow you to edit the row then sync the changes to all other emails that use this row. Alternative you can choose Unsync this Row, which apply the changes locally to the single email being worked on.
