Add your branding and messaging to Online Ordering receipts using the powerful customizations available in the Paytronix Email Builder. Let’s take a look at how to make your receipts a reflection of your unique brand.
What do I need to know before I begin?
You’ll need to have Online Ordering as well as any other Paytronix service in order to use our customizable receipt feature. If you have questions about whether you have the required product(s), please contact your customer success manager, solutions consultant or open a case with Paytronix Support.
Users who have permissions to credit and edit emails will be able to edit the content of an Online Ordering receipt.
Please do not edit, add or remove any parameters in the HTML content. Please do not use loyalty or cardholder parameters like <template:insert field="first_name">Guest</template:insert> as doing so can prevent the email from sending.

How do I customize an Online Ordering receipt?
There are two unique ways to create a customized Online Ordering receipt depending on if you are new to Paytronix or if you are an existing client.
New Clients of Paytronix
For our new clients who have just been set up with Online Ordering and our Email Builder, please follow the instructions below.
When you are first set up with Paytronix, we will place a new transactional email type for Online Ordering receipts under Marketing Tools > Email Builder.
You can use the default language that we’ve prepopulated for you in the Email Builder. To add logs or images, just drag the content blocks before or after the HTML block.
Alternatively, you can edit the message or add any customization, by clicking on theHTMLbutton under theContenttab.
Existing Clients of Paytronix
Create the desired Online Ordering Receipt in Email Builder using HTML. When the content of the email is satisfactory, save and approve the email.

Making it Live
Once the email is ready you can make it live at either one location or all locations.
For one specific location:
1. Go toOnline Orderingand choose each individual restaurant you want to turn on this receipt for.
2. Go toSettings > Text.Select the checkbox:Use Paytronix Email Builder for Receiptsto ensure the restaurantwill start using the Email Builder Online Ordering Receipt immediately.
For all locations:
1. Navigate to Enterprise Settings Management and check Use Paytronix Email Builder for Receipts.
2. Run a test transaction. If there are no issues with the email builder version of online ordering receipt then it should be sending. If you receive the older version of the online ordering receipt then there there are issues with the email builder version. Please open a case with Paytronix Support for troubleshooting help.
