Configuration

Within Paytronix Online Ordering, navigate to the Marketplace Conversion settings. On the top navigation, go to Settings, Marketplace Conversion.

  • Check Enable Marketplace Conversion.

  • Select the rewards to offer.

  • Verify the logo and SMS content, adjusting to suit your brand and reward details.

  • Save the settings.

These settings may also be configured at the enterprise level, although the Printer ID and Printer URL are store-specific.
Important Tip: Save the Printer ID and Printer URL values. You will need these to connect the printer.

Printer Setup: Epson Server Direct Print

The printer must be configured to pull orders from the Paytronix cloud system and print them.

Accessing Printer Configuration

You will need to access the web configuration interface for the printer from a computer on the same network.
You will need the printer’s IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.50). To get it, you can usually turn the printer off with the power switch, hold down the Feed button, and turn the power back on while holding the Feed button. After a few seconds, the printer should print a settings sheet with its IP address.
Once you have the printer’s IP address, open a web browser on the computer and enter the IP address in the address bar, like: https://192.168.1.50/
If prompted for credentials, the default username is epson and the default password is the Serial Number, which can be found on a label on the printer. The password / serial number is case sensitive.

Connecting the Printer

Once logged into the printer configuration, you should see a screen like the following:

Note: The exact screens below may vary based on your printer.
Select EpsonNet Config for TM-i on the left navigation. This will load the following screen:

Select Server Direct Print. This will load the direct print configuration.

Configure the following settings:

  • Select Enable next to Server Direct Print

  • Under Server1 (or the next available server, if your printer is already using Server Direct Print for another function):

    • In the URL field, enter the Printer URL that you saved earlier from Configuration

    • In the Interval field, enter 30

  • In the ID field, enter the Printer ID that you saved earlier from Configuration

  • No Password is needed.

  • Ensure that URL Encode is set to Enable

  • Ensure that Server Authentication is set to Disable

  • When done, click Apply & Restart in the top-right corner

Note: After the printer is configured successfully, a test print should automatically print out. If you see the test print, you know the printer is connected. If you do not see the test print, double-check the settings above, and make sure the Printer URL and ID match the values from Paytronix Online Ordering. You can also manually send a test print.

Manually Sending a Test Print

From the Marketplace Conversion settings page within Paytronix, the Send Test Print button allows you to send a test print and confirm the printer’s connectivity.
