How to Create a Test Account Filter for Campaigns

This article will go over how to create your own test account filter, so that you can send campaigns to this account filter first for testing.

How to identify your card number

  1. Navigate to Customer Service in the left sidebar, then Account Lookup.

  2. Enter your identifying information to locate your test loyalty account.

  3. Copy the Card Number listed in the top left of the blue box. This Card Number is what you will use to create the account filter.

How to create the account filter

  1. Navigate to the left sidebar and select Marketing Tools, and then Account Filter from the expanded menu.
    A. On the following screen select the button in the top right “Create New Account Filter” to be brought to the screenshot below

  2. In the new Account Filter screen, give the account filter a name you can easily remember to access it for future campaigns.

  3. Click and drag the condition "Sequential Cards" from the right-hand side to the Conditions box in the middle.

  4. Paste the card number for your test account into the boxes titled "First Card #"

    and "Last Card #".

  5. Type in 1 in the box labeled "How Many Card #s?".

  6. Select the correct loyalty template for your card from the dropdown on the left.

  7. If you want to add any more test cards to this filter, click the "+ Add" button, and then repeat the steps above to add the new card number.

  8. Once done, select "Save" and the account filter will be saved and able to be selected for future campaigns.

Important Reminders

  • The card number you use for the account filter should be the card number for your own test loyalty account.

  • You should ensure that your test account is opted into all communication you are looking to test, which can include email, push, and SMS notifications if you have these enabled.
