If you wish to use phone or text notifications to an international (non-US) number, specific formatting rules apply when adding the number under Settings > Receiving Your Orders.
The formatting for each is as follows:
+[country_code][phone_number]
For example, if you have an Australian number of 22223333 with a country code of 61, the proper formatting would be:
+6122223333
