Uses

* Shows the total amount of outstanding gift card balances, summarized by card template .
* Assists you in assessing the dollar liability associated with unredeemed gift (stored value) dollars.

Restrictions

* This report will ALWAYS run from inception through the date entered.

HOW DO I INTERPRET THIS REPORT?

Interpretation Summary

This report shows all unredeemed dollars on gift (stored value) cards and is summarized by card template. There are columns for card template and then the number of accounts, which shows how many non-zero cards there are in each template. This is followed by stored value balance and discounts balance, then the Net Balance, which is the stored value balance minus the discount balance. The account status is the final column; each type of status has its own line so you can easily separate the active cards from those that may have been suspended or terminated.

The number of accounts used to calculate the total liability

Stored Value Balance

The balance on all cards

Discount Balance

The Stored Value Discounts amount on the cards

Net Balance

The stored value balance minus the discount balance

Account Status

The Account Status of the cards

I LIKE IT, SO HOW DO I RUN THIS REPORT?

  1. First enter the date range for which you’d like to run the report.

    • Quick Date: Here you can choose Yesterday, Today, the current month, or last month. If you have set up by your custom fiscal periods, you may also choose to run the report by fiscal period.

    • Manual Date Entry: Here you can type in your desired date range or find the day by clicking on the calendar icon to the right. This will ALWAYS have a From date of Inception.

  2. Click Submit!

    Note: This report is not updated in real time; activity up to 45 minutes in the past may not be included.
